​WE'VE RE-OPENED! 

There is so much to see!

  • Revamped and updated display areas in both the Farmhouse and Gallery

  • New Photography exhibit in the Gallery

  • Regular hours have resumed:  Sundays, 1:00-3:00PM; Wednesdays, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Or by special appointment)

  • We will be closed the day before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, November 27th.

FAMILY SUMMER HISTORY PROGRAM

SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

The schedule for the summer's Family History Programs has been announced and online registration is open for K-6 children.  Children registered will have activity packets for each program prepared in advance and waiting for them.

SPECIAL EVENT

BILL BALDINI IN PERSON

SFAHS will be hosting NBC-10 reporter, Bill Baldini for his first-hand account of breaking the Pennhurst story in 1968, as well as the subsequent court rulings leading to Pennhurst's closure in 1987.  The program will be held on May 8, 7:00 PM, at the Royersford Fire Co. Banquet Hall, 269 Green Street.  Tickets go on sale April 8.

LOCAL HISTORY PROGRAMS

The historical society has announced three of its four annual local history programs:

  • April 10 - Mordecai Evans House, Linfield

  • June 12 - Sherwood Hallman Medal of Honor

  • September 11 - History of Nelson's Ice Cream

  • November 13 -40th Anniversary of SFAHS

All programs start at 7:30 PM and are held at the Royersford VFW, 730 S. Fourth Ave.​

GRAND REOPENING OF MUSEUM

SFAHS announces its Grand Re-Opening after being closed since Jan. 1.  Newly renovated and revamped display spaces will be unveiled for the public and a temporary exhibit on local photography will be on display in the Gallery.  Grand Re-Opening - Sunday , April 7, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
